Nuremberg – Florian Kainz kept 1st FC Köln in the first game after the separation of coach Gerhard Struber on promotion course. The Cologne-based Cologne team won 2: 1 on Friday evening in Nuremberg, Kainz scored to equalize (67th) before the Styrian used a mistake by Nuremberg goalkeeper Michal Kukucka in the 89th minute. The Cologne team temporarily took over the top of the second German Bundesliga in front of the Hamburger SV.
