The councilwoman of São Paulo reimbursed spending that had it with plane tickets to Rio de Janeiro and daily, between Tuesday (13) and Wednesday (14).
The House authorized the passages and daily to the councilwoman “in order to establish bilateral relationship with the Rio de Janeiro City Council” and attend meetings with the Protection and Civil Defense and Public Security committees to implement future projects in São Paulo.
In the state capital, she was honored with the medal, in a ceremony organized by Rio de Janeiro councilwoman Talita Galhardo (PSDB), her friend.
In a note to the panel, Zoe reiterated that he went to the capital of Rio de Janeiro to comply with official commitments and focused on public safety, citizenship and cooperation between cities. And he said that during the mission he received the medal and was cited by the mayor, Carlo Caiado (PSD), for the “work I have been developing”.
“If he were a left councilwoman, they would say ‘how beautiful, a woman honored for her work.’ But as I am right, they try to turn into a scandal,” says Zoe, in a press office note.
“In the end, it is always like this: when a conservative woman is recognized for what she does, try to delegitimize, distort, demoralize,” he concluded.
Asked by the column about the trip with public funds included the tribute, she said she will return the money.
“The cost of the trip, authorized by the Board of Directors and provided for in the rules of the house, was R $ 4,787.10. Still, out of respect for public money and not to feed opportunistic narratives, I chose to fully return the value. I also highlight two advisers with my own expense,” he said.
The advice of the House said the councilwoman will be informed about the costs of the trip to reimburse the values.
