Pisa – The Dutch Daan Hoole unexpectedly won the individual time trial from Lucca to Pisa on Tuesday at the Giro d’Italia. Patrick Konrad’s 26-year-old Lidl teammate needed 32:30 minutes for the 28.6 km and thus seven seconds less than Joshua Tarling (Ineos). Its British compatriot Eather Heater (Soudal) finished three seconds behind. The Mexican Isaac del Toro successfully defended the overall leadership won on Sunday.
