After shaking social networks in recent days with an announcement of a starry cast, the new movie “Hunger Games: Dawn on Harvest” releases a fan’s selection call to play a role in history.

Some of the big names already released for the feature film were Ralph Fiennes (Snow President), Kieran Culkin (Caesar), Elle Fanning (Effie), Maya Hawke (Wires) and Jesse Plemons (Plutch).

“This is an official cast call: a lucky fan will be selected for a role in ‘Hunger Games: Breaking Dawn on Harvest’,” wrote the film’s official profile on social networks. “To take the test, show your best: represent a scene, sing a song or surprise us with something completely new. All talents are welcome. No prior experience is needed.”

Each video, according to information released, must have a minute or less, mark the profile of “Hunger Games” on Instagram and include the hashtags #SotrCastingContest and #Thehungergames in the caption. All rules are inserted in full on the film’s producer website, Lionsgate.

The new work opens on November 20, 2026 and will be focused on the character Haymitch Abernathy, a tribute that became a mentor of Katniss and Peeta after winning the capital’s voracious games.

The “Dawn in Harvest” plot will be set 24 years Before the events of the first book, when Katniss and Peeta participated in the Hunger Games for the first time. This period in the fictitious universe is known as the “Quaternary Massacre”, when 48 taxes from the 12 districts were summoned to the games, including Haymitch Abernathy.
