Funchal (Madeira)-Anna-Maria and Eirini-Marina Alexandri have left the Olympic disappointment. In the technical core of the European Championship of the Synchronous swimmers, the sisters swam on Madeira to gold. They won the duet competition on Monday in Funchal with 301,8800 points in front of the Spaniards Iris Tiio and Meritxell Ferre (282.1017). It was a personal point record for the Alexandris. Bronze went to France.
