Lula participates in dinner at the Elisha Palace in Paris

The President (PT) participated this Thursday (5.Jun.2025) of a dinner at the Elisha Palace in Paris. The reception was offered by the president of France, Emmanuel Macron (Renaissance Party, Center), and the first lady Brigitte Macron.

With a symbolic and diplomatic nature, the event brought together authorities, entrepreneurs and representatives of the culture and gastronomy of 2 countries. Present were the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet; journalist Zeca Camargo; actress Maria Fernanda Cândido; and former French president Nicolas Sarkozy. The dinner was for 2 chefs with direct connection with Brazil and France: the Franco-Brazilian, known for his performance in gastronomic reality shows on Brazilian TV, and Alessandra Montagne, Brazilian chef based in Paris. Alessandra should soon take over the kitchen of the Louvre Museum – will be the 1st Brazilian to occupy the post.

During dinner, the French president made a toast in honor of Brazil and highlighted the proximity between the two countries. “Allow me, dear President Lula, to toast this unique relationship, to this country across the ocean and our neighbor in the Amazon, with whom our ambition is simple. We want to continue to dream, realize and reinvent humanity. And live Brazil and live France, and live the friendship between Brazil and France”, declared.

The musical program had a show of the singer, that $ 168 thousand for the performance. In May with the Order of Cultural Merit, Roberta is recognized for her performance in MPB, Samba and Bossa Nova.

The France’s Republican Guard Orchestra of the Republican Guard was also presented. The guests received a menu with the night repertoire, which included classic works by Mozart, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Jacques Offenbach, as well as popular songs by Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento and “Ballad”from country singer Gusttavo Lima – known in France by the chorus “Chest Coné Rereé”.

The moment was recorded on the social networks of Macron and Lula. During the visit of the Brazilian president to the French capital, the Eiffel Tower went with the green and yellow colors.
