O St. John of Thaywhich began on Friday (6), continues with the program this Saturday (7). The seventh edition of the event, which will be free to the public for the first time, is held at Espaço Reserva, in São Luís, Maranhão.
This year, the theme will be “We are Amazon”,
It is estimated that the event will bring together in both days until 30 thousand peoplecombining tradition, entertainment and social impact.
Before St. John of Thay begins, a welcome Luau for the guests marked a tribute to the party hostess-recognized as a natural heritage by UNESCO.
Names like Joelma and João Gomes have performed at the party, as well as important groups of Maranhão popular culture.
