Vienna – domestic sport is still a male domain. 82 percent of people who hold management functions are men. As for coaching, 83 percent are coaches and only 17 percent trainers. There are just eight percent women in referees. These figures were presented on Tuesday at the 2025 gender conference in the Haus des Sports in Vienna, which organized 100% sport – the Austrian Center for Gender Competence and Safe Sport.
