A 70 -year -old man was arrested in Capixaba, in the interior of Acre, after being sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for raping a child of only 4 or 5 years, in a crime that occurred about 15 years ago. The complaint was formalized by the victim, who is today an adult and married woman, after years of psychological and family support.

The Civil Police reported that the case was revealed when the young woman decided to register a police report at the local police station. Delegate Aldizio Neto, who led the investigations, explained that the inquiry was sent to the judiciary, resulting in the definitive conviction of the accused.
In addition to the crime of rape, during investigations, witnesses reported that the man also practiced zoophilia, ie sexual abuse against animals. The evidence collected confirmed these allegations.
