Atlantic City – The Lower Austrian Philipp Kaider won the extreme bike race Race Across America. The Lower Austrian needed 8 days, 22 hours and 29 minutes for the 4932 kilometers across the Oceanside continent in California to Atlantic City in New Jersey. The Upper Austrian Lukas Kaufmann, second in the previous year, was a good 300 km before the finish line.
