Brussels-Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in a committee of the European Parliament on Tuesday has increased violent criticism of the radical cuts of the American development aid program USAID under US President Donald Trump. “The short-term prospects are dark,” he said in Brussels in a pronunciation with EU MPs. “In the end, there will be over a million deaths that are due to these cuts.”
