Neither Spain nor Italy: British elect the 2 most affordable tourist destinations to spend family holidays

Choosing a holiday destination with all included that is simultaneously exotic and affordable seems to many a difficult balance to achieve. However, a new study based on reserve data and prices of the first quarter of the year has revealed that there are two options to gain prominence among European tourists.

According to the Daily Express, Morocco and Tunisia emerge as the most economical vacation destinations with all included, winning families and couples looking for complete experiences without compromising the budget. The analysis was based on reservations made through the online agency Loveholidays.

Africa vacation

The data reveal that Morocco is the destination with the best quality-price relationship for families, with seven-night packages, reserved at the last minute, to be an average of 95 euros per person per night.

Already Tunisia stands out among couples, with seven-night escapelas at an average cost of 144 euros per person per night.

Both options offer, besides the competitive price, a vast set of cultural, historical and landscape experiences.

Heritage, history and landscapes to lose sight

Tunisia houses nine locations classified as UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, including the ruins of Carthage, the Roman amphitheater of El Jem and the picturesque coastal village of Sidi Bou Said.

According to Daily Express, the Sahara Desert is another of the country’s emblematic scenarios, ideal for those looking for adventures outside the resorts.

The beaches of Hammamet and Sidi Mahrez, on Djerba Island, offer a bathing alternative with crystal clear waters.

Morocco: Between Medina and Dunes

According to the same source, Morocco captivates travelers with their vibrant and labyrinthine cities. The Medins of Marrakech, made and Chefchaouen remain mandatory stops, as well as the Sahara Desert, the Alto Atlas mountains and the coastal city of Essaouira.

The geographical variety extends through villages, forests, markets and mosques, such as the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca and the Ez-Zytoune mosque in Tunes.

Local prices below the European average

According to data from the Numbeo platform, the cost of living in Tunisia is, on average, 57.5% lower than the UK.

A complete dinner for two people in a middle range restaurant costs about 17 euros. Already a simple meal is around 2.50 euros, lower than a beer in the UK.

In Morocco, an economic dish costs approximately 3.20 euros and a meal of two, with three dishes, surrounds the 20 euros.

According to the same source, these prices make it even more appealing to the choice of stays with all included, especially when combined with reduced meals and leisure spending outside the hotel.

The ideal formula for those who want more for less

Both Tunisia and Morocco offer a rare combination between accessibility and diversity. The competitive prices of packages with all included are only part of the appeal: true value is in the cultural and natural richness of destinations.

Write what, in the case of families, Morocco clearly leads to savings.

Already couples find in Tunisia a destination that combines tranquility, heritage and beaches for an adjusted value.

Both countries continue, according to the British newspaper, to appear among the favorite choices for out of the eurozone, especially for those looking for complete experiences with minimal logistics concerns.
