Excessive soil consumption in Austria has been a well -known problem for years – there is agreement among experts. Environmental protection organizations also regularly raise the alarm, partly with unconventional actions – most recently the WWF. He has now changed the federal anthem. Instead of “land of the mountains, land on the stream, land of the fields, land of the dome” this version begins with: “Land of the excavators, land of the streets, land where fields quickly fade”.
