On the eve of the election year, Management (Republicans) issued a notice to hire a company that will be responsible for the digital communication of the São Paulo government in the next 15 months.
The contract value is R $ 29,834,408.82 and could reach close to R $ 120 million if renewed for five years. The delivery of the envelopes of the participating companies is scheduled for August 25.
The column found that it is the highest value ever offered to provide digital communication services in the state.
For the latest contract signed in May 2020, the government offered R $ 12.5 million for the period of 15 months. The increase now is 73%, already discounted the inflation of the period.

To the panel, the Secretariat of Communication (Secom) stated that it is solely responsible for the coordination and production of content for social networks of other folders – more than 100 profiles that bring together more than 6 million followers.
The highest value is due to the expansion of previously contracted services, says the folder. “This includes redefinition of contracted products and quantities, given that over the past five years there has been an important update in the complexity and volume served by the contract in question.”
“The amount of R $ 12 million, as well as the amount of R $ 29.8 million, are ceiling values for the period of 15 months, which are obtained from the average quotations with communication agencies for the opening of the bidding,” says the note sent by the Secretariat.
According to state management, the hiring is not related to the election year and the notice was published due to the expiration of the current bid in October 2025.
“The contracts of the Secretariat of Communication deal with institutional and non -electoral communication, and are intended to ensure full service to the principle of publicity in public administration,” he says.
