Khamzat Chimaev provoked Brazilian on social networks
The rivalry between Khamzat Chimaev and Paulo “Borrachinha” Costa again gained prominence last Friday (18), after Chechen mocking the recent accusation made by the Brazilian at UFC 318.

Borrachinha revealed that Chimaev would have sent “disgusting” direct messages to his girlfriend, which generated strong emotional reaction from him. In a video released during the press conference, the Brazilian presented a small “tremendous” caught the attention of the press and fans, generating speculation about anxiety or fatigue of weight. The rivalry began in 2023, when a combat between the two was scheduled to UFC 294, but was canceled after Costa suffered infection in the elbow. Since then, exchanges of provocations on social networks have kept the clash alive.
At the moment, Khamzat Chimaev prepares to compete in the middle belt against Dricus du Plessis on August 16 at UFC 319 in Chicago. Paulo “Borrachinha” Costa, in turn, faces Roman Kopylov this Saturday (19), in the co -prince of the event in New Orleans.
