Video registered on Thursday (17.Jul) shows child running at the time of attack; place sheltered people displaced in the Bureij refugee field
Israel’s defense forces bombed on Thursday (17.Jul.2025) The Abu Helou school, which housed Palestinians displaced in the Bureij Refugee Field, in the central region of the Gaza Strip.
A Reuters confirmed the location by comparing images of the construction, vegetation and urban configuration of the region with satellite files.
A video of the attack shows people walking near the scene. In the images, you can see the moment when the building is hit by a missile. The recording also shows a child running to move away from the explosion.

According to information released by the Ministry of Health of Gaza – Hamas Controlled – Israel bombed the site at least twice the same day. The entity stated that the attacks left “Dozens of the dead”.
The Israeli army did not comment on the episode.
