Amid an alarming increase in, the Israeli army announced on Sunday (27/7) a 10 -hour “” daily ”in its military activity in three areas of the territory, to allow.
According to a statement from the Israeli military, “” comes into force this Sunday, always between 10am and 8pm (local time).
The military added that “safe routes” will be established between 6am and 23h to allow UN trading traffic and humanitarian organizations that distribute food and medicines to the population of Gaza. “This decision was coordinated with the UN and other international organizations after discussions on the subject,” the statement added.
Also according to the Israeli military, the break will be implemented in areas where there is currently no active presence: city of Gaza (north of the enclave), Deir al-Balah (in the center) and Al Mawasi (south).

Egyptian television also reports that the first trucks with humanitarian aid are on their way to Palestinian territory. Egyptian trucks are about to enter the Gaza Strip on the Rafah border, the broadcaster Al-Kahera News on Portal X reported, with video images showing humanitarian aid trains in the border area.
The Israeli decision occurs the day after Israel announced the resumption of airlines of humanitarian aid over Gaza, where deaths from malnutrition have fired in recent weeks.
The total number of malnutrition victims since the beginning of the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, rose to 127, 85 of which are children, according to Gaza Health Department data, controlled by the government led by Hamas.
Resumption of food sending through the air
This Saturday, Israeli army reported having resumed the launch of humanitarian aid by air – strategy criticized by humanitarian agencies for offering insufficient supplies and involving significant risks.
Palestinian sources confirmed to the Reuters news agency that the air launch of humanitarian aid had started in the north of the Gaza Strip. The first release would have involved seven pallets.
The announcement of the resumption of air launches through the air occurred a few days after a hundred organizations warned of mass hunger that spreads in Palestinian territory and mainly reaches children. According to the Israeli government, the Armed Forces will break the fighting in populated areas to allow humanitarian aid to enter.
Earlier on Saturday, the United Kingdom had claimed that it works with Jordan to also launch humanitarian aid by air. The British government also suggests leading a plan to remove children who need medical care.
The information was confirmed by British Prime Minister Keir Stmermer in conversation with France and Germany leaders.
