Neymar’s cycle in Santos may be ending. According to the “Fachajes”, the Brazilian star is in negotiations with Olympique Marseille as a way to prepare for the 2026 World Cup.
The player has a contract with Santos only until the end of 2025 and could sign a pre-contract with any team from July. With this, Olympique could sign with the Brazilian for January 2026.

Since arriving in Brazil, Neymar has played only 16 matches for the Fish, having suffered from injuries in the period. The athlete scored four goals and contributed three assists in the period.
On the Olympique side, Neymar’s signing would seek to strengthen the team for the Champions League dispute and to try to end PSG’s dominance in the French Championship.
Last season, Marseille’s team ended up as runner-up of the running points tournament. The team made a series of signings for the season, totaling six names. Neymar would be the “cherry on the cake”.

It is noteworthy that while in French football, defending PSG, Neymar was punished for two games by the French League after assaulting Álvaro González, Spanish defender who was at Olympique. The Brazilian said that Álvaro cursed him as “monkey” during the match. The Spanish athlete now defends Tenerife.
