The New Aliança Church Church, the Association Range and the AFAM Institute today carried out a major health action in partnership with the Emergency Clinical Hospital, Pre Health Card and the Municipal Health Secretariat. The event took place at the headquarters of the three institutions, located at Road of Floresta, 16,651, Floresta Sul neighborhood, and benefited families in social vulnerability that reside in the surrounding neighborhoods, such as Cabreúva, Bahia, Vila Bethel. Palmeiral and João Eduardo.
The initiative offered free care in eight health specialties, expected to exceed the mark of 600 care throughout the day. The action was attended by doctors from various areas, nurses, nursing technicians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, ophthalmologists and dentists, all acting voluntarily.
Among the services provided were medical consultations, nutritional evaluation, blood pressure measurement, dental care, pediatric care, physiotherapeutic orientation and ophthalmological examinations. The teams also conducted preventive activities and health care guidelines.
According to the organizers, the action proposal was to bring health services closer to families facing access difficulties, offering welcome and humanized attention. “Our goal is to take care of people and provide access to quality health, especially for those who need it most,” said the event coordination.
The action was also supported by dozens of volunteers, pre -health card, Emergency Clinical Hospital and the Municipal Health Secretariat, which guaranteed technical and logistics support to the initiative.
