Burgkirchen/Braunau am Inn – a deer was apparently killed by an unknown poacher in Burgkirchen in the Braunau district in Upper Austria. The district hunter and hunting director of the community discovered the dead Rehgeiß on Thursday on a meadow. She had a bullet hole on the right side of the body. The shot could have been made from a small -caliber rifle, but no projectiles were found. The Mauerkirchen police asked any witnesses to report on 059133-4208. (APA, August 15, 2025)
