The fourth year of the biggest music event in Slovakia – the Lovestream festival began. Almost two dozen performers and groups will be presented on the main stage of the unprecedented dimensions and equipment that Slovakia only sees thanks to this event.
The first festival day opened formation of love2dance. After that came to the stage Norwegian couple Nico & Vinz, forming it Dery ‘Vinz’ Dery ‘S Osla ‘Vinz’both year of birth 1990. Duo was established in 2010 under the name Envy, the current name has been using the current name since 2012. In April 2013, they released their most famous single Am I Wrong, which scored mainly in the rankings of the Nordic countries.
They released two albums, The Magic Soup and the Bittersweet Faces in April 2012 and the Black Star Elephant in September 2014. There was also a nice surprise from the stage, when after the song in Your Arms sang a hit made for me home group Desmod, To add the well-known hit of the Norwegian top band A-Ho.
Norwegian musicians were alternated by the English electronic group Clean Bandit. The Cambridge formation has been on the scene since 2008. Since 2016, they have performed as a trio that consists of a violonist and vocalist Grace Chatto and brothers Jack and Luke Patterson. Jack is the main composer, they are known for the overlapping of elements of classical and contemporary dance music. The concerts are also taken by guest vocalists, with whom they also came to lovestream. They also have two released albums, New Eyes from May 2014, it was successful and in the ranking got third, the second was what is love? of November 2018. Of these, A+E or Extraordinars are songs.
English Singer and songwriter Becky Hill (1994) won the name in The Voice UK. In June 2014, the band was first in the chart, which she recorded with Oliver Hendels, and in 2022 she won two Brit Awards. Two albums performed by this singer are known to fans, Only Honest on the Weekend from August 2021 and especially Believe Me Now? from May 2024, who got first in the ranking. In September 2019 she released a compilation Get to Know. Her repertoire also includes songs Heaven On My Mind and Space.
Half a second hour before midnight, visitors from the whole area concentrated in front of the main stage not to miss the headliner’s performance, the first day, American group OneRepublic. The Colorado boys have been on the scene since 2002, the band consists of singer and composer Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keyboardist Brian Willett, bass guitarist and cello brent Kutzle and drummer Eddie Fisher.
In November 2007, the group released the debut album Dreaming Out Loud, including the hit Apologize, which earned her a nomination for the Grammy Award. Today they have six released albums, the latest Artificial Paradise was released in July 2024. In the American and English singles top 40 they had ten songs, they missed hits such as Counting Stars, I Ain’t Worried, Apologize, I Lived, IF and Lose Mystets. Interestingly, all band members are multi -instrumentalists playing on several different musical instruments, they can even replace them during the concert.
