The meeting of US President Donald Trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin showed that there are opportunities to end the war. This was stated by Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (voice-SD). He stressed that even if the summit ended without an agreement, it is good that the meeting occurred.
“Both presidents showed that the war in Ukraine is a geopolitical affair. Therefore, it is important that the presidents of the two world powers met and that their meeting took place in a good atmosphere. The summit gave the world important messages,” The Minister of the Interior said.
At the same time, Šutaj Eštok recalled that one summit could not end the war in Ukraine. “However, it is always better to negotiate, communicate and talk to how to fight and kill yourself, so it is important that the Alaska Summit has occurred,” added.
