Ankara – In the west of Türkiye, more than 250 people have been evacuated due to a forest fire. Because of the fire on the Gelibolu peninsula, 251 residents from five villages were brought into safe areas as a precaution, the governor of the province of Canakkale, Ömer Toraman, said on Sunday in online service X.
