Registration for ID Austria is to be expanded in the communities. 890 municipalities currently offer registration. In the future, those around 1,200, in which no ID Austria can be applied for, will also be added, it said on Monday at a press conference in Gerersdorf (St. Pölten district) on the occasion of a service tour. The aim is that the offer will be used by all people in Austria by 2030.
