Current Mayor of Rio leads in all segments, according to a survey released this Friday (22.ago.2025)
Survey released by Quaest on Friday (22.2025) shows that, in the dispute of the government of Rio de Janeiro, the mayor of Rio (PSD-RJ), has 35% of voting intentions. It is followed by (PL), which punctuates 9%.

The survey was conducted by QUAREST from August 13 to 17, 2025. 1,404 people were interviewed 16 years or older. The confidence interval is 95%. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, more or less. This is the study (PDF – 20 MB).
Eduardo Paes leads in all segments, but stands out mainly in the age group over 51 years, in voters with incomplete higher education, people with more than 2 minimum salaries of income and Catholics.
Government approval
The study also researched the approval of the current governor, (PL-RJ). According to Quaest, 43% approve the government, 41% disapprove and 16% do not know or did not respond.
