PDT Leila Barros considers the presence of Onyx Lorenzoni in the Commission to clarify issues relevant to the management of the Ministry of Social Security during his term of office during his mandate
The Senator (PDT-DF) filed the INSS’s Joint Parliamentary Commission (CPMI) an application to call the former Minister of Social Security ,. His presence is considered fundamental by members to clarify issues pertinent to the management of the portfolio during his mandate, and his participation can provide valuable insights on practices and decisions that impacted social security.
CPMI, installed with the objective of investigating fraud and irregularities in the INSS, seeks to deepen the analysis of implemented policies and thus formulate concrete proposals for improvement for the system. Lorenzoni’s call reflects the urgency of understanding the context and guidelines that shaped the ministry’s management, especially at a time when confidence in institutions is shaken. Parliamentarians believe that the former minister’s contribution will be crucial to building a precise diagnosis of the current social security situation.
“The presence of former Minister Onyx Lorenzoni will be fundamental to clarify relevant points,” said one of the members of the board. Upon listening to its explanations, the Commission will be expected to identify failures and opportunities for improvement, ensuring a more transparent and efficient future for the INSS.
