Graz-In Styria, stricter rules for begging will come into force on Monday, September 1: The FPÖ-ÖVP government had fixed the amendment in a government meeting in May, and was decided in the state parliament in June. In the future, neither children nor animals can be taken with them when begging. It is also forbidden to arrange a person to beg or organize the begging by a group. Municipalities can also ban begging in certain places.
