Washington-the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, warns of a militarized intervention by the government of US President Donald Trump in the city center. With a view to the expected commitment of the National Guard in the capital Washington, the Democrat Johnson said: “We don’t want to see any tanks on our streets.” There could be increased controls on Trump’s command to arrest migrants without a valid residence permit, he warned.
