Supporters of the former president (PL) held the demonstration on the edge of Copacabana, in Rio. They asked amnesty for those involved in the alleged coup attempt of 2022 and criticize the Supreme Court (STF). The demonstration is days before Bolsonaro’s trial is completed by the 1st class of the Supreme Court, which is expected to condemn Bolsonaro this week.
The demonstration was convened by the Senator (PL-RJ) and Pastor Silas Malafaia as part of a national mobilization in defense of amnesty to the convicts of the January 8 attacks. Protesters began to focus around 10am at Post 4 of Copacabana Beach, in the South Zone of Rio. A sound truck housed the former president’s organizers and political allies. The act was officially started at 11:30 am with the execution of the National Anthem.
Among the participants were the governor of Rio de Janeiro, (PL), and federal deputies such as (PL), (new), (PL), (PL), (PL) and (PL).

Union centrals and leftist movements also performed acts in Rio. FEDERAL MEPS, such as (PSOL-RJ) and (PT-RJ) were present. Protesters raised posters against amnesty and the end of the war in Gaza.
