For preparation chokeberry juice You only need a few easily available ingredients that will make the drink not only tasty, but also full of nutritional values:

  • 1.5 kg of chokeberry,
  • 500 ml of water,
  • 900 g cukru,
  • 1 lemon juice.

It’s best to use Aronia, mature, fully gathered season. Thanks to these ingredients you will receive a clear, aromatic juice that is perfect as a tea base, a drink for cool evenings or a home way to strengthen immunity in the autumn and winter season.

Wash the chokeberry thoroughly, get rid of stalks and leaves, then thoroughly dry. Put the ready fruit to a tightly closed container or bag and Place in the freezer for a minimum of two days. After this time, remove them and transfer to a large pot with a thick bottom. Further aronia with sugar and set aside for a few hours – usually about five or six so that the fruit releases juice.

When the fruits are properly prepared, pour water into the pot and crush the fruit with a pestle to get as much taste as possible. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice And cook the whole on low heat for about half an hour. Then the kitchen pot set and leave the mixture to cool for a few hours, and sometimes even overnight, so that the juice will gain an intense aroma.
