Deputies want expertise to find out if the flag used in an act of the right came from external financing
The federal deputies (PT-RJ) and (PSB-PE), leaders of their parties in the House, filed a formal request to the (Federal Police) to investigate the right on Paulista Avenue, on September 7. Read A (PDF- 492kb).
The document was delivered on Monday (08.Set.2025), one day after the demonstrations in favor of the former president (PL). The representation requests the opening of an inquiry to investigate possible violations of Brazilian law, which prohibits financing or subordination of political parties to resources of external origin.
The deputies argue that the eventual assignment or logistical support by a foreign entity for political manifestation in the national territory configures irregularity.
“This is not an innocent gesture, but part of an alignment gear of the Brazilian far-right to foreign interests, visible in support of sanctions against the country, the use of symbols such as Donald Trump’s” Maga “cap and international pocket connections.”the deputies say in the representation.
According to the text, the deputies suspect that the same foreign national symbol was used 2 days earlier, on September 5, during the NFL (National Football League) held at the Neo Chemistry Arena, in São Paulo.
The elements that reinforce the suspicion, according to congressmen, include the temporal proximity between events, the similar characteristics of the object and the logistics complexity that would involve transporting a large item.
The request includes specific requests for the PF to make expertise of the images, identify the origin and transportation of the flag, listen to representatives of NFL Brazil and the organizers of the demonstration, as well as investigating eventual external financing.
The deputies also requested that, if agents with privileged forum involved in the case are identified, the case file is sent to the PGR (Attorney General of the Republic) for measures with the Supreme Court (STF).
