Rabat-In Morocco, a woman has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for a T-shirt with the inscription “Allah is lesbian”, human rights activists are calling for their release. A court in the capital Rabat condemned the activist Ibtissame Lachgar last week to 30 months in prison and a fine of the equivalent of around 4700 euros. The court rated the wearing of the T-shirt as “harmful to Islam” and thus as blasphemy.
