If the Vienna DesignCommunity is based, the year has a small fifth season, namely the ten days of the Vienna Design Week. This has been making a hotspot in terms of design every year since 2007. The curated festival also shows extensive perspectives on design projects in various formats this year. The audience – around 40,000 people are expected at over 50 locations – is brought closer to the varied beings of design in the form of exhibitions, interventions, workshops, talks and tours. You can see domestic and international examples from the areas of product, furniture and industrial design, architecture, graphics and social design as well as experimental and digital approaches as part of around 200 events.
