A plastic packaging that is not recycled is an absurd thing. She may protect a perishable goods on the way from the factory to supermarket and consumers. At the latest with the consumption of the content, however, the packaging is disposed of. In the worst case, she ends up at a landfill to survive for centuries. For example, if Leonardo da Vinci had eaten a foil packaged in 1519 before his death, the deposited plastic would still not have been completely broken down today.
