Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu He said on Tuesday that Israel will create an “independent weapons industry” that can “resist international restrictions.”
“We will produce a very powerful, very strong independent weapon industry that can resist any kind of international political restriction and provide security for the state of Israel,” Netanyahu said.
He said his government will build an arms industry that will match the best in the world with one condition: “We want to produce first to ourselves, on a much larger scale and with unimaginable innovation,” he added.
In your speech, He spoke about the Israeli economy and how it resisted two economic crises, Covid and the two -year war in Gaza.
“The Israeli economy is very strong. I have a lot of confidence in her. It’s strong. It’s innovative. She faced two economic crises. The coronavirus crisis came first in the world and the two -year war, in which we invest a lot,” he said.
He also added that US President Donald Trump invited him to the White House in two weeks after his UN speech.
This week, Netanyahu said Israel faces an international “kind of isolation” that can last years. According to him, the country has no choice but to defend itself.
