“Bruno Lage was no longer coach of Benfica. We understood that the time has come to change. Regarding the next coach, on Saturday, in Vila das Aves, we said we had the new coach,” the leader of the ‘Eagles’ began.
The Lisbon emblem leader insisted on the presence of a new coach in the bench in the next game, never revealing the identity of the next helmsman.
“Benfica is currently without coach. What happened was the conversation with Bruno Lage. No coach came in today. Of course we have our preparations so that on Saturday, in Vila das Aves, Benfica is already with the new coach in the bank,” he said.
