Thousands of protesters took to the streets of London on Wednesday (17.Set.2025) in an act against US President Donald Trump (Republican), which is in.
The protests were peaceful and gathered more than 50 organizations. Among the guidelines were the defense of Palestine, the end of American support to Israel, the fight against climate change, support for immigrants and nuclear disarmament. There were also posters against Nigel Farage’s British Party (right).
The number of protesters was not announced by organizers or security forces. At least 1,600 police officers were called in to reinforce the monitoring of acts.
While the protest is held, Trump is in the castle of Windsor, the official residence of the British monarchy, about 40 km west of London. Trump arrived in the country on the night of Thursday (16.Set) and was and by Queen Consort Camila. The Republican will still have a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Stmerer. Trump’s no United Kingdom agenda
Trump’s political agenda in the United Kingdom has its highlight on Thursday (18.Set), at a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Keir Stmerer (Labor Party, Center left). The commitment will be in Checkers, the official field residence of the British government.
Trump and Stmerer have a good relationship, despite the ideological divergence. The labor was the 1st to close a trade agreement with the Republican to reduce commercial tariffs announced by the White House in April. Now Downing Street expects to increase this agreement with lower rates for steel and aluminum.
The meeting should also include joint Ukraine support actions in the war against Russia and advances in treaties aimed at cooperation in technology and nuclear energy. Trump will return to Washington DC on Thursday (18.Set) and will complete 18 days outside the country in this 2nd term.
