Champion for Corinthians, Gil retires and reveals dream with Flamengo

According to defender who most wore the Corinthians shirt, with 444 games, Gil announced retirement of the lawns. The announcement was made for reporter Jean Brandão, from the Sport Record program.

“New phase, I’m retired from football. It’s set,” he said.

Gil also revealed that he could not realize a career dream.

“I did everything I wanted, just missed play in Flamengo, not everything is perfect. I’m grateful for the career I built,” said the now former player.

At the beginning of his career, Gil stood out on Cruzeiro. After 43 games with the heavenly shirt, he was sold to, where he was Brazilian champion, Paulista and Recopa. The sheriff had a passage through Chinese football, arrived at the Brazilian team and ended his career playing for.
