The Minister of (Supreme Federal Court) goes to Rome, Italy, to participate on Saturday (20) of the Jubilee of Justice, event at the Vatican for Judges, Prosecutors and Professionals.
The program provides for an audience with oe a speech by Archbishop Juan Ignacio Arrieta on the theme “The Operator of Justice, an instrument of hope”.
Fachin is Catholic and can receive the Pope’s blessing a week before taking office as president of the Supreme. The ceremony is scheduled for September 29 and should be attended by the president (PT), congressional leaders and representatives of various religions.
The trip was adjusted with members of (National Confederation of Bishops of Brazil). Tickets and accommodation are funded by the minister, without the use of public resources.
Fachin has been a Supreme Minister for ten years. The expectation in the court is that he imposes his discreet and conciliatory profile in the presidency of the Supreme Court, with more predictability of the trial agenda in the plenary.
He as successor to the minister, whose most communicative and media style marked the two years in charge of the court.
