Dandruff can make life more difficult for man. White particles falling from the scalp are visible not only on the hair, but also on dark clothes. This problem can be embarrassing for many people and, unfortunately, often despite the use of anti -dandruff shampoos, it returns like a boomerang. A distinction is made between two types of dandruff: seborrheic (fat) and dry. It happens that the problem simply occurs due to inappropriate care of the scalp and disappears when we change, for example, shampoo. It’s no secret that each of us cares to get rid of dandruff quickly and effectively. In the fight against dandruff, I use home remedies, and one of them works almost always. Well, I add three drops of tea tree oil and wash my head thoroughly with such a mixture. It is also worth leaving a shampoo with oil for 5 minutes on your head so that it can work effectively and then rinse the head with warm water.
Tea tree oil for dandruff
Tea oil is often recommended as a natural dandruff remedy due to its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is believed that it can help fight Malassezia Globos, a fungus that contributes to the development of dandruff. However, you must remember to never apply it directly in pure form to the scalp, as it can cause irritation, redness and itching. In the fight against dandruff, it is worth using it in combination with shampoo or in the form of a wipe – stirring, for example, with coconut oil.
Home remedies for dandruff
In addition to tea tree oil, castor oil is also effective in combating dandruff. Ricin has antifungal, bactericidal properties, and has a high content of omega acids and vitamins, in turn, our grandmothers believed in healing the power of herbs and often used them in hair care in the form of rinses. Herbs that are particularly valuable for people struggling with dandruff are: nettle, rosemary, sage and thyme. How to prepare a herbal rinse for dandruff? About 2-3 tablespoons of the selected raw material should be poured with boiling water and left for about 15 minutes. Then strain the liquid and leave to cool.
