UEFA defines awards of R $ 500 million to Champions Champion

Tournament will distribute R $ 15.1 billion among the 36 clubs participating in the season, with progressive values ​​in each phase

The defined award values ​​for Champions League 2025/2026, which began on Tuesday (16.Set.2025) with the group stage. The tournament will distribute approximately 2.46 billion euros (R $ 15.1 billion) among the 36 participating clubs. The champion may accumulate more than 80 million euros (about $ 500 million).

Each team that participates in the group stage already ensures 18.62 million euros (R $ 115.92 million). At this initial stage, the union of European soccer associations will pay clubs a bonus of another 2.1 million euros (R $ 13.08 million) for victory and another 700 thousand euros (R $ 4.36 million) per draw.

The top 8 in the table guarantee an additional 2 million euros bonus (R $ 12.46 million), while teams ending between the 9th and 16th places will receive 1 million euros (R $ 6.23 million) extra.

The awards progressively increase in the knockout phases. The 16 clubs advancing in playoffs will receive 1 million euros (R $ 6.2 million). The classification for the round of 16 guarantees another 11 million euros (R $ 69 million), while participation in the quarterfinals yields another 12.5 million euros (R $ 78.5 million).

The semifinalists will receive 15 million euros (R $ 94.2 million). The two finalists will pocket over 18.5 million euros (R $ 116.1 million), with the champion earning an additional 25 million euros (R $ 162.5 million).

The (Paris Saint-Germain), winner of the previous edition, accumulated 83 million euros (approximately R $ 530 million) throughout the competition of 2024/2025, being 25 million euros (R $ 162.5 million) only for the victory in the final against Inter Milan.

UEFA also estimates extra payments after the end of Champions League, whose value varies according to the commercial rights of the competition. The final will be played in Budapest, Hungary on May 30, 2026. The values ​​established for the 2025/26 season maintain the Champions League as one of the world’s most profitable sports competitions.
