CASE JULIANA CHAAR: Lawyer celebrates departure from pre -trial detention and thanks defense

After being released from pre -trial detention, lawyer Keldheky Maia da Silva, accused of attempted murder during a confusion that resulted in the death of legal assistant Juliana Chaar Marçal, 36, has already published a message of thanks to social networks.

Keldheky had been detained since August 7, after the incident occurred in the early hours of June 21, in front of the Dibuteco Night House, in the Isaura Parente neighborhood of Rio Branco.

In the first publication after the release, he highlighted the performance of his defender, lawyer Paula Belmino:

“I want to thank my friend and excellence lawyer immensely! Thank you for all your effort and competence to my cause,” he wrote.

The revocation of the arrest occurred on Thursday (18) by the Court of Justice of Acre (TJAC), after the defense argued that there were not enough elements to maintain the precautionary measure. Judge Francisco Djalma, rapporteur of the case, spoke favorable, being accompanied by Judges Samuel Evangelista and Denise Bomfim.

The Public Prosecution Service of Acre (MPAC) also positioned itself in favor of freedom, recommending precautionary measures such as use of electronic anklet and night collection, which were accepted by the magistrates.
