Τραμπ κατά New York Times: Αγωγή 15 δισ. δολαρίων για συκοφαντική δυσφήμιση

A federal judge in his dismissal today rejected the lawsuit for slanderous defamation of the US President against them, declaring it “unacceptable” and giving four weeks to the US president to re -format her.

At the expense of the US newspaper, of which Donald Trump claims the astronomical sum of $ 15 billion, he contradicts procedural rules, says Judge Steven Meridey, judging he is “inappropriate and unacceptable”.

Therefore, the lawsuit is “rejected”, while “correcting it within 28 days”, in a form that will not exceed 40 pages, according to the text of the decision.

The judge expresses his disapproval of a bunch of unsubstantiated reports or allegations, without the plaintiff clearly formulating his complaints, according to him.

What does Trump complain about?

In the lawsuit against the New York Times and their four journalists, as well as a publishing house published by two of them, Donald Trump denounces a “derogatory book” about the origin of his property and “three false, malicious, slanderous articles”.

“This lawsuit is unfounded,” the US newspaper replied. “It is not based on any valid legal claim and aims solely to silence and discourage independent journalism.”

The lawsuit had been filed for a few days after Donald Trump had threatened the New York Times after publishing articles on a greeting letter attributed to him in 2003 to businessman Jeffrey Ecastin.
