There is nowhere more democratic than a football stadium. This is the evaluation of Alexandre RiccioCEO of Inter & Co in Brazil, by deliberating on the choice of the headquarters of the Inter Invest Summit.
The event takes place at the MRV Arena, in Belo Horizonte (MG), this Saturday (20). For Riccio, the idea is to pierce the democratization of the fight with investments, which the executive considers “as something transformative in people’s lives, from young people who are starting to invest in as elderly.”
According to information from Anbima (Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Markets Entities) of 2024, the country had more than 59 million investors.
Still, a contingent of 32 million people – approximately 15% of the country’s total population – were left out of the financial market even though they have reserve for it. Despite the inherent difficulties of access and income access, Riccio sees “a very great opportunity for discipline.”
“When you say ‘I will invest’ it seems that it is a complex movement, but it cannot be so. We have to think of investments like a discipline movement, which happens month by month,” he said in an interview with CNN.
The CEO reiterates that this is not an individual thinking: Inter’s own platform has been designed thinking about this accessibility. “We have investments for all pockets, even smaller than a real. The goal is to make them more perennial, part of the routine,” he concludes.
With over eight hours of programming, the event will bring together other prominent names in the sector, such as Thiago Nigro, founder of the Primo Group, and sports narrator Galvão Bueno.
The Inter Group will also be present the Director of Investments Monica Saccarelli; Chief economist Rafaela Vitória; and Rubens Menin, Chairman of MRV & Co, Inter, Log Commercial Properties and CNN Brazil controller.
