Only 4 ministers and 1 governor accompany the president on the flight to the United States; Another 2 ministers and 1 governor are already in the country
The president (PT) will have in his entourage on the trip to the United States 6 ministers and 2 governors. No congressman embarked with the petista this time. The group was reduced by the growing tension of the relationship between the government of Donald Trump (Republican Party) and the Brazilian government.
Like the Poder360 Lula decided to bring less politicians and advisers to the trip to New York for fear that Americans could impose some kind of embarrassment on the entourage.
This time, no congressman will integrate the delegation. Normally, Lula invites deputies or senators to travel with him as a way to honor them and also to take the opportunity to have denser conversations.
The president boarded at 10am this Sunday (21.Set.2025) at the Brasilia Air Base. Its landing in the United States is scheduled for 6:45 pm GMT.

- Márcia Lopes – Minister of Women;
- Sonia Guajajara – Minister of Indigenous Peoples;
- Elmano de Freitas – Governor of Ceará;
- Celso Amorim-Chief advisor to the Special Advisory of the President of the Republic.
Environmental ministers Marina Silva and Foreign Affairs Ministry, Mauro Vieira are already in New York. The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho (MDB), is also already in the city. He and Marina participate in a series of New York Climate Week events. As well as the president of COP30, André Corrêa do Lago, and the executive director of the conference, Ana Toni.
Banco do Brasil Presidents Tarciana Medeiros and Banco da Amazônia, Luiz Claudio Lessa, also traveled to the United States for a series of investors events.
