Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Manaus, Natal, Belém, Brasilia and João Pessoa have had acts since Sunday morning.

The acts were convened hastily by the fronts without fear and popular Brazil, linked to the PSOL and the PT and bringing movements such as the MST (Landless Rural Workers Movement) and the MTST (Homeless Workers Movement), during the week in at least 22 capitals.

The demonstration was called in protest against after the vote of and the urgency for the amnesty project.

In the Bahian capital, the protest in front of the Christ of Barra gathered thousands of people and was full of artists’ presences such as singer Daniela Mercury and actor Wagner Moura, who spoke while the gifts shouted phrases like “without amnesty”, “outside the impunity” and “out of the banditry.” Actress Nanda Costa was also in the act.

“Without amnesty, no PEC of armor. We are here in Salvador saying to the whole world that we do not accept this PEC of impunity to federal deputies. We do not accept to any deputy. We are here with the Popular Front with us,” said Daniela on the trio while holding a Brazilian flag.

In Belo Horizonte, the demonstration took place in the central region, in Raul Soares Square, also attended by artists – singer Fernanda Takai (Pato Fu).

The group, which after the concentration went towards Square Sete, also in the central region, wielded bands and posters with phrases such as “in defense of democracy”.

In the northern region of the country, protesters took to the streets in Belém and Manaus. In the capital of Pará, the act began at 9am at the Peace Theater, Praça da República, and brought together left -wing groups, students, politicians and artists.

In Manaus, the act was marked by a walk between Getúlio Vargas avenues in the Center, and Sete de Setembro.

Amnesty’s proposal was rejected by participants in Natal and João Pessoa, who had critical screams to Hugo Motta, who was elected by the state.

In Rio de Janeiro, the act will be at 14h at Post 5 of Copacabana and will feature, Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, expecting the organizers to attract an audience beyond the left -aligned protesters.

In São Paulo, the demonstration will be in front of MASP, on Paulista Avenue, also at 14h. The expectation is to expand the public that went on September 7 in the Anhangabaú Valley, according to the monitor of CEBRAP’s political debate.
