The rapporteur of the proposal of amendment to the constitution of the Senate Shield, Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE), said that he will present his opinion next Wednesday to the project before the Senate Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ).
It will be up to the president of the board, Otto Alencar (PSD-BA), decide when he will put under vote. Vieira was announced on Friday, 19, as a rapporteur and said he will recommend the rejection of the text.
“My position on the subject is public and the report will be for rejection, technically demonstrating the huge damage that this proposal can cause to Brazilians,” he said on social networks.
