The Prime Minister of, announced on Sunday (21) the formal recognition of the state with the objective of “reliving the hope of peace” to Palestinians and Israelis under a solution of two states.
“Given the growing horror in the Middle East, we act to keep the possibility of peace and a solution of two states alive. This means a safe and protected Israel alongside a viable Palestinian state,” the British head of the British government in a pre-recorded video and published on social networks.
Today, to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis, and a two state solution, the United Kingdom formally recognises the State of Palestine.

Canada also recognizes the state of Palestine to ‘preserve’ the solution of the conflict
This also recognized, on Sunday, the State of Palestine, in coordination with other countries such as United Kingdom, France and Portugal, as “a necessary step to preserve the solution of two states, given the unsustainable nature of the current situation.”
In recent weeks, Canada had already appointed the intention to recognize the state of Palestine, although the country’s foreign minister Anita Anand said that the “normalization” of diplomatic relations will not occur until the Palestinian authorities implement a series of democratic reforms.
Today, Canada recognises the State of Palestine.
