France Football Magazine also awarded PSG as “Club of the Year”; Team has a cast evaluated in 1 billion euros
Valued at 90 million euros (R $ 566 million), PSG’s French striker Ousmane Dembélé took the Golden Ball when elected on Monday (22.Set.2025) the best player in the magazine award France Football. According to the site specializing in soccer players, Dembélé is among the 20 most expensive players in the world.
Ballon d’Or, or a golden ball, is delivered based on the vote of specialized journalists from various countries. In this awards, performances were evaluated during the European season 2024/25, which covers the August period from 2024 until July 2025.
At the Théâtre Du Châtelet, Paris (France), the French magazine also announced that PSG, winner of Champions League, was the best team of the year. The cast is valued at 1 billion euros, according to Transfermarkt. Last season, Ousmane Dembélé participated in the team’s achievements: all national titles, besides the Champions League.
The second -placed golden ball was Spanish striker Lamine Yamal, who entered the field 55 times for Barcelona. The striker won the Laliga title, the King Cup and the Spanish Super Cup. The player is the most valuable in the world, worth 200 million euros (1.2 billion reais).
Raphinha was the best Brazilian on the award list. Barcelona’s striker, which is worth 90 million euros (566 million reais), was 5th. Vini Jr., 2nd placed on the 2024 Golden Ball, was in 16th position this year. Real Madrid striker is worth 170 million euros (1.07 billion reais), according to Transfermarkt.
