The accusations of humanity crimes regarding former Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte claim their involvement in the murder of at least 76 people while he was head of state and previously mayor of Davao.
The drafted accusations were made public on Monday after the prosecutors presented a 15 pages in court on July 4. Among other articles, they claim that Duterte instructed and authorized “Violent acts, including homicide, against alleged criminals, including alleged drug dealers and consumers.”
The first accusation cites 19 Mortal Victims While Duterte was Mayor of the City of Davao, between 2013 and 2016. The second involves 14 people who died in selective murders between 2016 and 2017, when Duterte was president of the Philippinesand the third refers 43 people murders during the so -called “Cleaning Operations” between 2016 and 2018.
Duterte, his lawyer and family members have not yet reacted to the accusations.
